As most of you know, I strongly recommend participating in JV Giveaway events to build your email list.
Right now there are 3 really great JV Giveaway events looking for contributors and I can’t wait for each of them to launch.
The first one is the Impact Event Giveaway by Ken McArthur and Odinn Sorensen. It launches on Thursday, April 23rd and runs until Thursday, May 7th.

Odinn’s giveaways get lots of traffic, so I purchased the upgrade and strongly recommend you consider it as well.
The second one is the Free IM Giveaway by Reed Floren. This one runs from Friday, April 24th, to Friday, May 1st.

Reed is one of the best when it comes to running giveaway events, so I purchased the upgrade and definitely recommend upgrading whenever he decides to run one.
The third one is the Greedy Giveaway by Jason James. This one opens on Tuesday, April 28th and runs until Tuesday, May 12th, 2009.

Again, I purchased the upgrade for this event since I’m confident it is going to get A LOT of traffic and should result in a lot more opt-ins.
As you can see, now is a really great time to participate in some JV Giveaway events as a contributor. All three of these JV Giveaway events should get A LOT of traffic and members (which means a lot of potential new subscribers).

Yes, giveaways can be a real goldmine when it comes to list building. I think everyone has realized it beacause there seems to be some new ones every other week. I just hope they maintain the quality and integrity of what they are for. Thanks for the heads up.

I do like participating in giveaways because they are a great list building opportunity. Problem is there have been so many here lately that it is hard to decide which ones are the best to be in.

Not sure I can keep up with the giveaways. They really do help in building your list, but they just keep coming. Also, not sure anyone can use that many gifts.

As a giveaway organiser, I agree with Andre. The quality has to be paramount. Manual checking of all gifts should be the norm, and IMHO removal of the paid immunity from promoting option. Gift ranking should be based on promotional effort rather than paying for an upgrade.
You’ve highlighted the best of the best in the current giveaways, Jit - congrats on a discerning eye!
As someone who has been running giveaways since the beginning, I can only suggest that people who visit giveaways should only download the best gifts since there are so many - which means marketers contributing to the giveaways need to be sure their topic, graphics and title really stand out amongst the crowd.
Great helpful content can bring great success - but only if people notice and download your gifts!
